Our kayaks are extremely safe and comfortable Sit-on-Top models that are stable, easy to handle, and easy to get in and out of even in deep water. Some kayak experience is beneficial for the longer, more strenuous trips, but not necessary at all for others.

Wildlife we've encountered on our trips includes all types of waterfowl, birds of prey, and owls. We occasionally see coyotes, foxes, bobcats, and mountain lions. We always secure the kitchen and build a makeshift alarm system before going to bed or leaving the camp unattended to keep the raccoons and bears honest.
